Apr 8/9th – Mixed Level Tourney – Team Composition Rule

Team composition rule:

1. 2 Leets
2. 1 U-Mid
3. 3 Mid/Amateur level (sub has to be mid/amateur)

U-Mid (Upper-Mid) is a new category (just for this tourney) that includes the following players:

Slim, Naruto, Mojo, Mad, Beaster, Dark Angel, Gukki, Human and Baoo

Note that the U-Mid players have to be in separate teams. That means only 1 U-Mid per player team.

All clans wishing to participate should register by sending an email to neomatrix_pk@hotmail.com by March 25th failing which they won't be allowed to play the tourney. The electronic registeration should include team captains phone number.

Neomatrix Powering Softec’s Gen-X Competion

Neomatrix is powering Softec’s Gen-X gaming competition this coming weekend. Competitions in the following games will take place:

Counter Strike 1.6, Warcraft III (FT), Quake III Arena, Fifa 2005 and NFS Underground.

Please note that NEO3 (Model Town) will remain closed on March 25th and 26th. NEO3 gamers are requested to visit our other branches. Thanks.

Warcraft III – DOTA 5 on 5 Tournament Happening @ NEO2

Five Dota Clans are participating in the DOTA Tournament at NEO2. The results will be posted here.

 

RedSkUllz [r5] has won the Mid/Amateur Mixed Level Tourney!

r5 won the tourney. They beat Syndicate in the final match. The map was Inferno.

Mid-Level / Amateur CS 1.6 Tourney today @ NEO1

The tourney will start at 12pm at Neomatrix (Defence). The rule is simple. 3 Amateur level and 2 mid level players allowed. The substitute has to be an amateur player as well.

Battle for Middle Earth – 2

Battle for Middle Earth – II has been installed at NEO1 (Defence) and will be installed at our other branches in the coming week.

The Battle for Middle-earth II improves on 2004’s game with a better strategic mode and a much broader scope that encompasses the whole of Middle-earth.

The Good: Fast-paced real-time strategy with authentic Tolkien flavor; war of the ring mode lets you really battle for middle-earth; excellent production values, beautiful graphics, great sound.

The Bad: Single-player campaigns are fairly generic; war of the ring mode suffers from many weird logical gaps.
