Demise and GC (a.k.a Shock) going to Karachi for WCG National Finals

The following two teams will be going to Karachi for the Counter Strike [WCG] National Finals. They will be leaving on August 31st.

Carnage won the NFS Most Wanted qualifiers and will be playing the National Finals. All the best to you Carnage.

WCG 2006 QUALIFIERS AT NEO ON AUGUST 26th

WCG QUALIFIERS AT NEOMATRIX, AUGUST 26TH

The qualifiers for ‘Counter Strike 1.6′ and ‘Need For Speed: Most Wanted’ will be held at Neomatrix1, 2 and 3 on August 26th. The entry forms will be available at all Neomatrix branches. Register at the earliest and be part of the WCG 2006 excitement.

The National Finals will be held in Karachi on 1st / 2nd September. WCG 2006 Final will be held in Monza, Italy.

CS Mixed-Level Tourney Over :: NIP Wins!

The 2nd Mixed-Level Tourney finished today (14th Aug). Eight teams participated in an exciting tourney. The tourney was sponsored by NowTees (www.nowtees.com)

The finalists were Coole’s (NIP) and Slipknot’s (GC) teams.

Winners: [NIP]  Coole, Mani, Liquid Snake, Hello Bhai and Stinger
Runners-up: [GC] Slipknot, Painkiller, Tony Blade, Gukki, Silent and Sheep

The final score was:

Inferno > Won by NIP > 16-1
Nuke > Won by GC > 15-15 then 4-2 (19-17)
Dust2 > Won by NIP > 16-14

NEO’s WARCRAFT DOTA [5 on 5] LEAGUE STARTS SEP 10th

The Rs.20,000 Dota League will start at Neomatrix on September 10th. Chaos Legion and Ninjas will be participating and all other major dota clans are invited to join in.

1. The league matches can be played at any branch of neomatrix as maybe convenient to you all.

2. If 5-6 teams participate there will be a total winning prize money of 20k. With the the 2nd team also getting a share.

3. There should be a total of 6 matches for each clan against every other clan. So this means if there are 5 clans then a total number of 30 games for each team.

4. These 6 games would be 3 games with senti side and 3 with the scourge side.

5. There should be a limit of 2 hrs or maybe even 1hr 45mins for every game. If a game continues that long it will be declared a tie.

6. The league should be finished within 75 days (2.5 months).

7. The point system can be the traditional 3 points for win, 1 for tie and nothing for a loss OR it can be made much more exciting by a new innovative system.

2 points for win 0 for tie n loss and along with this bonus points for various things.

These things include
* +2 for Killing Roshan
* +3 for Getting to ‘Beyond god Like’.
* +1 for Doing a 5-0 in a battle.
* -1 if more than 2 aegis for a team. I would really like to see this.
* +2 for a 25 kill difference
* +2 if the losing team has more kills, for the losing team ofc.
* Rest you ppl can add. There are some great minds out there.

This might seem strange to give bonus points with same weightage as the points for winning the game. But this will encourage ppl to make the game interesting and it will matter how you won or lost the game rather than just the end result. But again as i said just my own opinion.

Suggestions are always welcome.

CS Mixed Level Tourney – Rules (13th/14th Aug)

Tourney Date: 13th and 14th August
Venue & Time: Neomatrix 2 (NEO2), Gulberg. 12pm

Team Composition:
2 Leets, 1 Umid, 2 Mids/Amateurs (Sub: 2 allowed and have to be mids or amateurs)

If in any case, the subs are unavailable at the time of the match, the match will go on with whatever number of players of that clan are available. There will be no delays. We will not allow replacing of subs at the time of the tournament. Please ensure you have good subs for the tourney who plan to stay while the tourney is happening.

The last match for the day will start at 8:30pm (+/- 10 mins) and the last map will be played till 10:30pm. Remember if the map has already started and its past 10:30pm, then the map will have to be finished.

Maps for the Tourney:
dust2, inferno, nuke and train (based on a draw)

Pool matches: 1 map only
Semis: Best of 3
Final: Best of 3

Once the tourney starts, there should be no delays. A maximum of 2 rounds will be allowed as practice before the start of the match. There will be no practice rounds at the time of the switch.

All other CS rules stay the same.

NCIL-B Winners : L E G I O N

Legion has won the NCIL-B league. They showed great performance from the very start of the league. Welldone, Legion.

The Runners-up are 5K. 5K played nicely throughout as well and gave a tough competion to all other teams in the league.

Velocity Wins the CS Tourney. V6 comes 2nd. Welldone!

The following teams participated in the CS Tourney today:

Pool A: M|6, dX, Cyborgs and 5K
Pool B: Velocity, H3O, V6 and Pwn Inc.

M|6, dX, V6 and Velocity made it to the semi-finals. The final was played between Velocity and V6.
