Demise Wins at Neo2 WCG Qualifiers, Intensity 2nd!

Demise took the top spot at NEO2 Wateen WCG 2008 Counter Strike qualifiers yesterday.
Demise - CS
2nd and 3rd spots were secured by W2K and Infection respectively. A match will be played between Infection and Clan Gen to see who takes the overall 5th slot for WCG National Finals. Good luck to both teams.

GC and i2D qualify for CS National Finals from NEO1

Going Clutch secured the top spot and i2D came 2nd on round basis at the qualifiers for Counter Strike at Neomatrix 1. Clan Gen secured the 3rd spot and will compete against the 3rd clan from Neomatrix 2 to try to win a slot in the National Finals.

WCG QUALIFIERS to be held at Neomatrix branches this weekend!

The qualifiers for all six games will be held at Neomatrix this weekend (September 27th/28th). The following games are included:
Counter Strike 1.6 :: 5 on 5
Call of Duty 4 :: 5 on 5
Warcraft Dota :: 5 on 5
Warcraft III TFT :: 1 on 1
C&C 3 – Kane’s Wrath :: 1 on 1
Fifa 2008 :: 1 on 1
Register at Wateen’s WCG website, print the Registration form from website and bring it to Neomatrix to participate in the Qualifiers. For more information, contact Majid @ 589-4881.

REGISTER NOW!!! WCG 2008 Event Details Released!

Wateen Telecom are now ready to conduct WCG 2008 tournament which will select the Pakistani team that will participate in the international competition later this year.
The event will be conducted in 8 cities with 18 participating gaming cafes nationwide. It will be the largest event of this scale ever conducted in Pakistan and will be marking the launch of Wateen’s Online Gaming Service.
The café preliminaries will be conducted from 20th Sept onwards with the National Final in Lahore, Pakistan on the 4th-5th of October. We are expecting over 5000 thousand participants country-wide to compete in 6 games for a prize money of 3 lakhs along with the opportunity to represent Pakistan in the WCG Grand Finals to be hosted in Cologne, Germany later this year.

2nd All-Night Ramadan CS Tournament – Elite Level

The 2nd tournament in Ramadan (an all-nighter) was held at Neomatrix on Saturday. Lahore’s top clans were invited:

gc vs intensity de_dust2 16-11 won by intensity
i2d vs demise de_dust2 16-8 won by demise
gc vs i2d de_inferno 16-12 won by i2d
demise vs intensity de_nuke 16-7 won by demise
At the end, i2d and demise stood equal both on point basis as well as on round basis. Therefore, a final map (de_nuke) was played between them.

First All-Night Counter Strike Tourney held at Neo1

Four teams participated in the first all-night Counter Strike tourney held at Neomatrix, Defence.
Furious 5, H30, Redscope and TNT. The scores were as follows:
1. Furious 5 vs H3O de_Inferno 15-15 Draw
2. Red Scope vs TnT de_nuke 16-6 Won by Redscope
3. Furious 5 vs Tnt de_Inferno 16-3 Won by Furious 5
4. Furious 5 vs Redscope de_Inferno 16-13 Won by Furious 5
5. H3O vs TnT de_Dust2 16-1 Won by H3O
6. H3O vs Redscope de_Inferno 16-10 Won by H3O
The tourney was played on a league system basis. H3O and Furious 5 had equal points, however H3O won on round basis.
Winner : H30! (the game, frost, incarnation, imalion, andy, intruder – Captain)
