COD4 - TOURNAMENT - 15 FEB
A total of 12 clans participated in the Call of Duty 4 tournament at Neomatrix. Clan ‘MM‘ won the COD4 Tournament by beating ‘Naruto’ in the final match.

On popular demand, a Call of Duty 4 tournament (5 on 5) will be held at Neomatrix (Gulberg) on February 15th.

Neomatrix Gaming Network’s Fourth branch will open on March 1st at Fortress Stadium, Lahore (inshAllah). As always, we plan to open the branch with Top Notch PCs and by providing the best gaming environment.

In the semis, xBTx beat Killers (3-1) and n3b beat Studs (3-1).

MOHAA TOURNAMENTS

Round 1 of the Amateur tourney took place today. 20 teams were divided in to 5 pools and it is by far the biggest Mohaa tourney in terms of the teams that participated in any single Mohaa Spearhead tourney. A special thanks to WhiteShadow who made special efforts to get all the clans of Lahore together for this event.
10 teams have progressed to Round 2 of the tourney which will take place tomorrow. Based on a DRAW that took place at around 9pm today, the Pools for Round 2 are as follows:
POOL A: 11am

5. Fatal Faction

We thank all Mohaa Spearhead teams that participated in the Amateur tourney today. We will have more of these tourneys from now onwards.

Tournament Date: Jan 17 & 18
Revised timings and pools due to timing issues with some clans:
Jan 17th, Saturday
ROUND 1
Pool ‘A’: 11am
Killers, StarClan, Grandii, Ayaash
Pool ‘B’: 1pm
Sam14, Maxi Boys, N3B, Gamers Den
Pool ‘C’: 3pm
XBTs, 325, Cults, Futile
Pool ‘D’: 5pm
Titans, Royal Regiment, Rebellions, SID
Pool ‘E’: 7pm
Fatal Faction, Nukker (nash), White Noise, Studs
The two top teams from each pool will proceed to Round 2.
ROUND 2:
Round 2 will be played on Jan 18th, Sunday. There will be 2 pools with 5 teams in each pool. The top 2 teams from each pool will proceed to Semi Finals. All matches in Round 2 and Semis will be based on DRAWS.
All pool matches will be Best of 3 maps (Aftermath, Russia and Bazaar).
Semi Finals and Final match will be Best of 5 (Above maps plus Brest and Verschneit)
Remember:
- Grenades are not allowed in Aftermath and Russia
- Use of Rocket Launchers is not allowed in any of the maps\
- Rifles are not allowed in Brest, Bazaar and Verschneit.
Other rules will be posted at Neo2.

Hell (iMz) with Trophy
iMz
won the Counter Stike
Champions Trophy 2009 by beating 5Fraggers in the most exciting final match in a while. The other two semi finalists were GC and Heat.
Neomatrix would like to thank all the teams who participated in the Champions Trophy (both Amateur and Leet teams) and made it a huge success. A special thanks to 5Fraggers and Hell (iMz) who came from Karachi to participate in the event and gave a tough competition to all teams. A very well done to Immortalz who DOMINATED the final match!
We plan to hold another tournament of this sort in Summer and will invite more teams from Karachi.

LUMS won the DOTA MASTERS Tournament today at NEO1. They played the final against Tb and beat them 2-0 in the best of three match. Welldone!
